How do I apply for a school place?

We follow the Wakefield Local Authority admissions policy and procedures.​

On this page is a link to the Wakefield Council webpage that deals with admissions to Netherton J&I school for Reception through to Year 6 children, this is who you should contact to apply for a place.

Also there is a link to open the Wakefield Council Admissions Policy for 2024-25. The school admission number for Netherton J&I School is 30. This means we can admit up to 30 children in each cohort within our school.
