School Development Plan
The School Development Plan (SDP) is the tool we use for continually improving Netherton J&I School. The SDP is written annually and reviewed regularly at staff and governing body meetings. Progress made towards development targets are monitored closely by leaders and reported to all stakeholders.
We choose our annual priorities based upon:
- Leaders self evaluation of the quality of education
- Subject Leader monitoring and required next steps
- Attainment and progress data
- OFSTED inspection areas for improvement
- Guidance for school improvement from our authority SSIA (School Improvement Adviser)
In addition to the main SDP our subject leaders also write their own action plans for the subjects that they are responsible for.
